How To Order a Custom Video

Next comes the hard part - waiting for your video! Your v first time requesting custom content, or maybe you feel like you haven't had any luck getting your favorite creator to respond. Below are some of my tips on ordering a custom video that truly brings your fantasy to life and doesn't leave you disappointed!

Outreach

The way you first communicate with the creator you want to create your custom video really matters. First impressions are important, and the best way to reach out to your favorite creator is most likely email or a form you fill out. Research the creator and see if they have a spot on their website for custom ordering, and if not find their contact page to email them.

Why Not a Fansite?

There are a lot of kinks and actions that fansites such as OnlyFans and LoyalFans censor, meaning your favorite creator may not be able to fulfill your custom request. The best way to communicate with your favorite creator without censorship is most likely email, or their chosen method of non-social media and non-fansite platform.

What To Include?

So, you've found out the best platform to reach out on. Now what? Custom prices will vary depending on the script you have, the length of the video you want, and many details you may want included such as a specific outfit, props, or filming location. Asking for custom rates without providing any details is like walking into a store and asking the clerk how much you owe them, without having anything in your basket yet. Include as much detail as you can while keeping things concise (edit your stream of consciousness and use both hands to type, if you know what I mean). Details you might want to include are: who you want in the video, how long the video should be, outfit requests, prop requests, dialogue, specific camera angles, and anything else you think is important to creating your own masterpiece. 

If you include everything you can in your initial email, you will spend less time explaining yourself in multiple emails where details get lost and get to the good part - creating your video! It should take no more than a few emails back and forth for the creator to understand your vision. Once that is squared away, be ready to pay for your custom creation.

Be Payment Ready

Now, custom prices do vary, but you should also have some money already set aside for the project so you aren't starting from scratch. $100-200 is probably a good starting spot to have set aside, and anything extra won't take as long to save up for. Yes, custom videos are an investment. You are having a human creator curate something exactly to your specification, including getting ready, finding outfits and props, setting up equipment, and also being a subject matter expert on your kink and putting on the character performance. 

Never undercut or question a creator's pricing. If it is more than you expected, ask if there is anything that the creator can work out to make the video fit within your budget. Better yet, come with your own solutions to help make your video more simple (i.e. one filming location instead of two, a shorter video, etc)

Research the platforms a creator uses to take payment. Decide which you would like to use, and propose that as an option for you to pay with your script.

Hurry Up and Wait 

Next comes the hard part - waiting for your video! Your favorite creator probably has project already going, so be patient. Ask for a filming and delivery estimate so you know how long to expect to wait. If you haven't heard back in a week, it's ok to give a gentle nudge to get an update. But keep in mind, the more you ask a creator questions, the more they are pulled away from the creative process and into administrative tasks!
